Off FARRAR MILL LANE SE 02 SE (east side) 7/141A Aqueduct over the Halifax Branch Canal II the address shall be amended to read: SE 02 SE Off FARRAR MILL LANE (east side) 7/141A Aqueduct carrying the Halifax Branch Canal over the Hebble Brook II ------------------------------------ OFF FARRAR IIILL LANE SE 02 SE (east side) 7/141A Aqueduct over the Halifax Branch Canal II Aqueduct, now disused. Built 1828, by the engineer Thomas Bradley as part of the Halifax Branch Canal for the Calder and Hebble Navigation Company. Ashlar. 2 arched bridge built skew across the river. The arches have segmental rusticated voussoirs, with a plain band above, then a central blank plaque and above another plain band and partly collapsed parapet. Eitherside, single ashlar piers, then curved rock-faced abutments, finished with outer ashlar piers.
