CLEOBURY MORTIMER SO6675 LUDLOW ROAD 582-1/12/94 (North side) No.2 Turnpike Cottage GV II Toll house, now house. C19. Coursed stone rubble. Hipped slate roof. Brick ridge chimney. Simple rectangular plan with 2 canted corners, one at junction of Ludlow Road and Catherton Road. EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 2-window range with entrance door on right-hand cant with recessed blank panel over. Side to right: single-window range. Lean-to to right. C20 casements in segmental-arched openings at ground-floor level. INTERIOR: not inspected.
