Pair of houses. Late C18. Red brick with burnt brick headers, and timber
framed outshut at the rear. Hipped, plain tiled roof with red brick ridge
stack and end stack and an internal stack to the pitch on the west side.
Built as a pair of houses and contemporary with No 117 (The Limes). Two
storeys and attic. Two pedimented dormers. Range of six first floor
casements in original openings in flat, clear red brick arches, and including
one original leaded light casement. At the north end a first floor canted
oriel window, C19, above a later shop front. Pedimented doorway to No 117 on
scroll brackets with moulded architrave. Three ground floor windows in
original openings, but lowered sills to two. Timber framed and plastered
outshuts of same date as the house part, with two stair turrets. No 115 was
separated from No 117 by a carriage entrance but this has now been built up.
Inside the houses have been modernised but retain original staircase with
moulded top newel post with diagonal cross bracing as balusters.
