Wraggs Farmhouse (No. 159)

Farmhouse. C17 origin with C18 brick casing to front and ends. Extended at
north end C19. Timber framed, plaster rendered to rear and red brick casing
or rebuilding to front and end walls.Plaintiled roof with original red brick
axial ridge stack. Single range plan with the lean-to on north end. Two
storeys. Five C19 first floor casements. Segmental arches to four ground
floor windows and doorway. The front wall to the road is made of Hitch
bricks. Interior: ceiling beams are exposed and have stop chamfered main
beams.
