STAPELEY C.P. LONDON ROAD SJ 65 SE 8/43 Stapeley Old Hall (No.190) (formerly listed as Stapeley Hall) 12.1.67 II - House. Early C19. Stuccoed brick with a slate roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: Semi-circular bowed projection to left of centre with a door at centre approached by three steps with pilasters to sides and brackets supporting an open pediment enclosing a basket-arched fanlight. Sash windows to either side of 3 x 4 panes and 3 similar windows to the first floor. Conical roof over. To the left is a tripartite ground floor window with 3 x 4 panes to the centre and 1 x 4 panes to either side. Above this is a sash of 3 x 4 panes. To the right are a sash window of 3 x 4 panes and a 2-light casement at left and right respectively of the ground floor and to the first floor are sash windows of 3 x 4 and 6 x 4 sash panes at left and right respectively. To the far right is a later addition with a 4-light C20 casement window to the ground floor and a sash window of 6 x 4 panes to the first floor.
