Road bridge over the Grand Western Canal. Early C19 (this section of canal was
opened in 1814). Large coursed blocks of sandstone ashlar. Single span bridge with
a elliptical arch. A plain dripcourse projects at road level and ramps up towards
the centre as it follows the road. The parapet has rounded coping and it curves
outward each end to terminal piers which project a short distance on the outside
only.
