Church. 1852-61. William White. Stone with polychrome decoration. Nave with tall
clerestory, aisles, transepts and short chancel. Tall west tower of 5 stages, and
stump of spire. Geometrical Gothic style. Wide arcades. Clerestory windows of
4-lights grouped 1:2:1 within larger blind arch. Five-light chancel window. Sanctuary
paintings by Henry Holliday.
