SJ 97 NW PRESTBURY C.P. NEW ROAD (West Side) 6/196 Admiral Rodney Inn 14/4/1967 GV II Public House: late C18 with some C20 alterations. Washed Flemish bond brick. Kerridge stone-slate roof and 3 brick chimneys. 2-storey, 4-bay front. Windows are 3-light iron small-pane casements. The upper ones have their original glazing but have applied lead glazing below. 2nd bay has C20 studded door under a flat brick head. Interior: Ground storey opened out with exposed timberwork, much of which is added; no important original features survive.
