The Images Of England site comprises over 300,000 photographs of listed buildings and structures taken between 1999 and 2005 to provide a 'snapshot' for the Millennium. Each image is accompanied by a description, prepared during the listing process. If you are a teacher, tutor or student, Images of England can provide you with valuable resources for studying the built environment, in particular your own locality.
The Learning Zone pages will help you to find the images relevant to your learning needs, provide tips on how to use them and allow you to download or copy text and images for use in the classroom.
