Volunteer to take photographs for Images of England

There are over 500 volunteer photographers currently taking part in the photographic survey of Englands 370,000 Listed Buildings. Many areas of England have already been comprehensively covered by our volunteers, but there are still some areas where we would welcome more volunteers. If you are interested in taking part, please contact us to see whether we need help in your area.

We need people who are confident they can produce good photographs in different situations. The survey covers a huge variety of structures, from cathedrals and castles to mills and milestones, and the main requirement is a desire to obtain a high-quality image which captures the architectural character of each.
